Ok so I just got the orb for the fireball jump, but I cannot make it work.

I'm trying everything, hitting alt fire by itself, combo fire/altfire button hitting, combo jump/altfire, nothing is triggering a rocket jump.

Is there something I am missing or is the game glitched for some reason for me?

is your gun at level 3? the bomb-jump should happen even when standing still if you press the alt fire button

I did that. I'd been ht by a zombie on my way to getting the orb and didn't realise.
Once again, i felt rather silly

i did it while trying to bomob jump over a pitt.. so dont feel bad lol

No, it's not just that, there is an actual bug. Rocket jump doesn't work if you're pressing the d-pad up or diagonally. Took me like 15 minutes to figure out, because I always press the D-pad diagonally or up while jumping. In fact, on my gamepad, it's almost impossible to press the d-pad to the side without pressing it diagonally.

ok there is a gltich where you cannot fire while holding the jump button, so jump and let go of it abnd you should be able to do it just fine
