After I got the map from the boss I stuck in the battlefield. Have no idea how to get out. Help, please?

OK i loaded your save into my game and the dorr opened after i killed the boss, I reccomend re download the game and moving your save into the new game files, probly jsut something corrupt in your current game file.

In case that doesnt work, heres your save file jsut after i beat the boss.

But please try the first method and tell me if it works.

I've downloaded your save file and tried it out with both versions, the GunGirl2 v1.1 full and the patched version (GunGirl 2 v1.0 to v1.1). As TheGentleRaven already mentioned, it works fine for me. The Boss is killed and the door opens as soon as I pick up the Magic Map. Did you download your copy of the game at some other website besides gungirl2.com? Just want to know because I've already googled my game and found quite a lot of web sites that have "GunGirl 2 v1.0.2" or something like that for download. I don't know where that version comes from, but I certainly have nothing to do with it! Maybe it's some kind of "hacked" or altered version those people made and put up for download? Maybe this is where bugs like that come from.

Please try and download the game again from gungirl2.com and see if the bug is gone.

Ok, I downloaded the game again (from here) and the door remains closed for me.
But I used TheGentleRaven's savefile (after he killed the boss), so actually there is no problem for me anymore. Thanks man.

wtf how did you make the boss appear without using the runes in the columns?!
bizarre bug, but I think I get what the problem is...

You see, to make the boss appear normally, you step in front of the columns and press UP. Then they start glowing and the boss appears.

It looks like the boss was called jsut from him walking in front of the rune locations, but because he never placed both inside the door was never triggered to close, then when he grabbed the map the door which usualy triggers to open, was already open so it closed?

Oh, now I see. Re-played it and everything went fine.

I had this problem my first time through. This time I tested it before having the runes. The boss fight can be started at any time, without triggering the door close (which is why they toggle to close upon beating him) by simply standing in him. He is invisible and doesnt hurt you, but still exists in game without the bossfight started, and due to the patch to make him warp away when confronted with the stand inside him and kill him in six seconds strategy, he now warps away and starts fighting you if you stand inside him when he is in standby.
