after i take the subway i went right and got a new gun then i went left and theres a dude in a house who blocked off a 2nd exit/entrance. i dont know where to go now so i need a little help plz

ok you need to go to desert hell, ( go outside the house and press up on the hell portal stone) then go inside the door to your left, there is a guy you need to rescure at the very end of this area, jsut keep going until you find him.

I think you're looking at the portal stone in the Marsh area. That one won't be active at this point in the game. TheGentleRaven was talking about the portal stone in the Desert area, which you need to use the subway to travel to.

If the Desert doesn't appear in the list of areas in the subway, you need to use the subway to go back to the Forest area, talk to the priest at the top of the house, and do what he says.
