This game is great. I've played a bunch and have 6 or 7 cherries already. However I am completely stumped about a couple things and am wondering if I missed something. First, there are references to a "Cold Place" that is clearly an important next step in the game but nobody has given me any hints about how to get there. I can see a screenshot in another thread here that is probably the cold place I'm missing, but it's not on the subway list yet and nobody has told me where to find a map for it and I've looked everywhere. I can't even ask the omniscient cursed skull who first told me about it because there's no interface for asking questions to items in my inventory.

Second, there's a "ferry man" to the "north" that I'm supposed to see, but sidescrollers don't have a "north" direction, unless that's a reference to the north pole in which case I guess I want to go to the "cold place" again. I did find a boat to the east of the forest, and with the help of the flamethrower jump I found some other stuff even further east, but it didn't seem to be helpful regarding my quest.

To reach the 'cold place' go to Forest station and head to the right. If you don't know what to do with the yellow dot outline, go talk to mister M in hell (the room left from Ash)

Also. The 'cold place' also just happens to be North station, so that should solve both your problems.
