Hi,

I ran into a problem that prevents me from moving forward in the game.

A couple days ago, I killed the flying monster in the desert hell between two pillars with runes, and I DID NOT have both runes (I had only the red one). Nevertheless, the boss appeared and has been slayed by me :twisted: I was awarded by the "Machine Town" map. Note that the closed silver door to the left did not open (no key?).

Now, I was looking for closed doors and I've got into the same location and I was suprised by the fact that these runes did not glow! So I tried to go there and the boss appeared again, and, again, I slayed it. And, again, I've been got by the same map! The silver door still doesn't open...

Another strange (and most disturbing) thing happened: now the entrance into the hell area in "Marsh Station" is disabled and I cannot get there :( I am sure it WAS open and I've was there...

Please help :cry:

Oh yeah, my game version is 1.1 -- I updated it from 1.0 in the middle of gaming. Maybe there are certain version incompabilities?..

You do not have the marsh hell unlocked yet. you need to go to machine station ( go to a subway and choose machine, SPOILER: Now do the potion quest for the chick and shell give you the ring for the m,arsh hell.

What you're saying here doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

The silver doors are not supposed to open just because you got a new map. You need a special key to open it. If you mean the door to the right, which didn't open, it should be impossible for you to get out of the boss room. So either way I'm confused at what you're trying to say.

Also I've tried it myself a couple of times and it was impossible for me to activate the boss without having both runes. I could not reproduce the problem and looking in my code, it did not appear to have any flaws that could be causing a misbehaviour at this point. But maybe I'm missing something or something else that I'm not thinking of could cause the bug.

Please send me your save file (or attach it in this forum), so I can take a look why things may or may not happen as they are supposed to.

Hi guys, thank you very much for your replies.

I'm just trying to say that there are strange things around - the boss appearing twice (by the way, it appeared after I jumped for a while around the central platform between these pillars... having only the red rune), and the closing hell area in "Marsh Station". BTW, I already did complete the five potions quest and was granted the ring.

I mentioned the door just because now I am not sure whether the remaining doors are closed because of a bug or because I still do not have something :)

Great game, by the way, and I'm still enjoying it and I'm recommending it to my friends!

Ok i loaded your save and all i noticed is that the potion quest is bugged, The demon head boss doesnt reappear and on my screen you have both runes place in the pillars.

I think that mabey your Game is corrupted so mabey try re downloading the game, and puting your save file into it. aLso i got the marsh ring by talking to the potion girl twice.

Ok guys, thank you for your help. I have moved forward in the game, killed the cultist daemon and already opened some of these silver doors.

However, I think there is a bug lurking in the scenario scripts that caused strange duplicate anomalities (as you saw in the savegame I attached).

I've also checked out the save game and there seems nothing wrong with it. All values stored in the data are correct. The reason why the Health Drink quest seems to be bugged is because you probably already did the quest but then didn't finish it by talking to the woman again. So when the save game is loaded, the quest gets started normally, but then detects that all Health Drinks are gone and it immediately sets the quest to finished. This might seem like a bug, but in fact it isn't, since all Health Drinks in the area are already gone when you start the quest, it starts and finishes at the same time.

I also ran through the other locations you've mentioned and didn't find any bugs.
