The impossible blue disappearing platforms

The impossible blue disappearing platforms

They're too damned hard.

You know the ones I am talking about, the ones in the complex beyond the Mario pipe in the Forest level, through the silver door next to the save point, and up a bunch more levels.

And not all of them, just those ones everyone complains about, past the main open block area, past the place where there's four blocks on top of one another.

The impossible area.

Now I am not declaring them too damned hard simply because I've tried them dozens of times without success. I have, but that's not why I am saying this.

I am saying they are too damned hard because many, many, many other people have, like I have, quit the game in frustration at this section. Regardless of what you think of our relative skills, Paul Schneider, this alone should tell you that this section is simply too hard.

And what is frustrating about it is that I have really, really enjoyed the game up until this point. That's why I, and so many others, have gotten so angry and frustrated over this bottleneck. We really want to play more of your excellent game, but we're stuck. We just can't get past this point no matter how we try, and it's extremely frustrating and bitterly disappointing.

So what I am asking for is simply this : release a patch that makes that part easier. It shouldn't be a lot of work for you to make such a patch, and the people who scoff and say it's not too hard can ignore the patch while those of us who really want to keep playing your extremely fun and well made game can apply the patch and finally manage to do so.

One question I'd like to ask the people who do not find the section in question too hard : are you plating with a gamepad? because I am playing via my computer's keyboard, and that might be the vital difference.

So please, Paul Schneider, put out a Mercy Patch for people like me. I've played lots of platformers over the years and I didn't find the game either too easy or too hard up until that point. In fact, up until this point, I've loved it. And I'd really love to keep playing it.

We just need a little help.

Alright, everyone who thinks this section is impossible should thank this man.

Patch 1.1 will be out very soon and it will contain an "easy mode" for this section if you play on NORMAL.

There is nothing too difficult at this part of the game if you can use Rocket Jump... at last 4 cubs when i got to the third one i used rocket jump in "TheGentleRaven style" and lose only 10 HP of 16 that I had but got there from the second try :\

I really like the game, but I don't understand why designers make their games such a crap some times. I mean that sucks so much when a game you like suddenly appears to be that annoying. I don't understand why do you do such things. I had to forgot so many games. In general it's not that hard on normal level, but SUDDENLY blue platforms appear. Even in os called "easy" mod. Please people, explain me why games need to be sucky near the end. Instead of some new challenges, we are offered TONS of enemies, traps, jumps etc. For me that is not the thing I want to play.

Well, what I want to say: GG is really wonderful game, I enjoy it a lot, but this section sucks sooo fucking much, like the other ones, with millions of zombies and absolutely nothing new. I quit many games because of such things.

(sorry for my bad english)

I hate such games too.
And because this section isn't too much fun for anyone, I've decided to get rid of this section and make it very possible for everyone.

Patch 1.11 will be out very soon and it changes the section.
Hopefully I won't get any more hate mail because of that anymore now.
